Here is a video I made a while ago. I found it appropriate to upload it now as I have my exam in multivariate calculus next week.
PS: I passed.

This is a video we shot this summer on Ammouliani Island in Greece. Ammouliani is a tiny island next to mount Athos (The Holy Mountain) in Chalkidiki.
Enjoy!
Yeap, I recently installed the best turbo in the world to my car. Here are the results =)
I was at one of Roger’s concerts in Athens on the 9:th of July. The show will be released as a DVD, and therefore all the mobile phones and digital cameras were forbidden because of the flashlights that would destroy the images on the wall.
Anyway, someone somehow managed to sneak in a camera and record Comfortably Numb, hopefully without any flashlight.
I was there 😀
Enjoy my video… more to come =)
Here is a sample video of my new Panasonic Lumix FT3. It can record in full HD, and it geotags the pictures and videos with the built-in GPS receiver. The greatest part is that it works 12 meters underwater. I will get some cool fishy videos this summer =)
EDIT: So the app doesn’t exist any more, nhah? Who cares…
So my latest iPhone-app is out =) Apple approved it and people can now download it for free.

It’s an application for listening to the Greek internet radio station Rockarolla.eu
Today I received a CPL (circular polarizer filter) for my DSRL. A few weeks ago, the one I made myself got scratched very easily, and I didn’t find any efficient way to attach it to my camera.
Here are some example pictures I took with and without the filter. Now I can say one thing for sure: The filter is never getting off my camera =)

I’m doing a project where I need to have access to all the Greek postal codes. I couldn’t find them anywhere on the Internet, so by personal labor, sweat, and years of hard work, I compiled my own complete database of ZIP/postal codes in Greece.
After doing all that, I thought, what if somebody else needs this information in the future, so here I release the database under the following license:
“You may use the database for anything you want, even if you earn money from it. The only thing you must do is mention my name and website in any place/program where you use this database, directly or indirectly.”
Enjoy: http://dimme.net/zip-codes-greece.zip
Update 2023-01-13: This database is probably outdated by now. Don’t use it for anything important.
